Test Facilities at Plant ::

Elettromeccanica India has a world class in-house testing facility for carrying out Routine Tests , Type Tests and Special Tests (except Short Circuit Test) as per client`s requirement and in accordance to the latest Indian and International standards. The test equipments majorly sourced from our parent company in Italy, makes our test bench truly international.

  • Test

All transformers are singularly tested with routine test, according to International and Indian standards namely IEC 60076-Part-11 & equivalent IS- 11171, respectively that are as following:

    1. Measurement of winding resistance.
    2. Measurement of voltage ratio.
    3. Check of voltage vector relationship.
    4. Measurement of short circuit impedance and load loss.
    5. Measurement of no-load loss and no-load current.
    6. Separate-source voltage withstand test.
    7. Induced overvoltage withstand test.
  • In addition to above we are able to conduct following Special and Type Tests at extra cost:

    1. Temperature rise test (Type Test).
    2. Lightning impulse test ( Type Test).
    3. Partial Discharge Measurement.(Special Test)
    4. Measurement of Acoustic sound level.(Special Test)
    5. Measurement of Zero-sequence impedance (Special Test)
    6. Measurement of Harmonics of no-load current (Special Test)
    7. Magnetic balance test
  • ASSISTANCE
    1. Checking "on site” problems / damages on transformers.
    2. Measure of the electric parameters of the transformers at site
    3. Carrying out Erection, Testing and Commissioning of transformers
    4. Providing supervision services for transformers
    5. Sale of transformers accessories.
  • REPAIR
    1. Repairs “on site” and in our Plant.
