Elettromeccanica India Private Limited (EIPL) is an established and leading brand in Cast Resin Dry Type Transformer industry.Steered by high ambition, with passion and professionalism we have developed a consistent and unique business model which has led us to succeed in a market dominated by a few multi-product, multinational companies. We are a majority owned subsidiary (51% share holding) of Elettromeccanica Colombo s.a.s Italy and have modern manufacturing & advanced testing facilities established at Bari Brahmana, Jammu (J&K).The other equity holder Sharika Enterprises Private Limited (49% share holding) is a major power management company based in National Capital Region of New Delhi and deals into varied power products & services viz. LED lights, XLPE EHV cable, Solar Power Plants, Mini Hydro Projects, Auto Recloser ,MV switchgears, Erection services etc.

Our parent company Elettromeccanica Colombo s.a.s is Italy based leading manufacturer of Transformers, established in the year 1901, with an experience of more than 100 years in this industry. Manufacturing of Cast Resin Transformers was started in early 1980`s and the production range includes - windings in Copper & Aluminium, with Maximum Capacity up to 10 MVA at 36 KV. These Transformers are manufactured in compliance with leading International Specifications & Standards, such as – IEC-76 / IEC-726 / VDE-0532 / BS-7806 / ANSI-C57-12 / IS-2026/ IS-11171. Elettromeccanica Colombo is certified with ISO-9001:2008, ISO – 14001: 2004 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 upholding the highest standards of quality, health and environment management systems. The products in various ranges have been Type Tested (including Short Circuit Test at CESI, Italy) thus establishing reliability & sustainability of its quality & design every time. Elettromeccanica Colombo has a vast experience of supplying these Cast Resin Transformers for an installed capacity of 50,000 MVA all over the World in more than 50 different countries.

Elettromeccanica Colombo s.a.s has an impressive presence in India by way of their Supply record of around 450 Nos. of 33 / 0.415 KV,0.433KV Cast Resin Transformers of 200 – 3150 KVA Capacity to prestigious Delhi Metro Project through ABB, SIEMENS,L&T and IRCON International, which have been performing successfully and consistently since 2001.

Elettromeccanica India Private Ltd. (EIPL), an NSIC registered company located in industrial estate of EPIP, Bari Brahmna, Jammu & incorporated in 2008 has its Plant & Machinery imported from Parent Company at Italy. However, in the 1st phase of our production, the Casted Coils are being sourced from Parent company, whereas the Transformer Core and the Transformer are assembled locally as per the design / specification of the parent company/client and are tested in house for all the routine tests, type tests and special tests (except SC Test which is done at CPRI/ERDA) as per relevant IS/IEC.

Our different ratings of CRTs have successfully withstood type tests and special tests for various reputed clients like DMRC, Jaipur Metro, Chennai Metro, and NTPC. Conforming to current engineering & quality management practices, EIPL has been awarded ISO-9001:2008 certification.

EIPL has a reputed list of clientele which includes industry giants like Siemens Ltd (for Delhi Metro & Chennai Metro Rail Project) , L&T (for Delhi Metro, Jaipur Metro , Hyderabad Metro Rail Project ) , IRCON International (Delhi Metro Rail project ) , Isolux Corsan (Delhi Metro Rail project) , NTPC, NHPC, SEBs , Ordnance Factories etc. to name a few.
